Lumpia Dipping Sauce

Lumpia is delicious all on its own, but occasionally I like serving them Vietnamese style — on a bed of rice noodles atop a lettuce leaf with a side of tangy dipping sauce.

Here’s my recipe for the dipping sauce.  Don’t let the fish sauce deter you — this is a must-try the next time you make lumpia.

Give it a try and let me know how you like it.

Here’s the link to my Lumpia recipe if you’d like to try it as well. 🙂

Good recipe! May I suggest using real authentic Palm sugar. It will make a tasty difference in place of regular sugar! Palm sugar is wonderful! It’s what I use every time I make Thai Papaya Salad! Cheers!!!

    • Hi Gerri! Thanks for the tip about using Palm Sugar! 🙂

And Thank you so much for the ahu recipe! I’ve been too busy with my travels with work I’ve been meaning to thank you! Please accept my apologies in my tardiness! Also, with the Holidays coming up, will you posting a recipe for Bonelos Dago? And also a recipe for latija using massa harina? I also love your recipe on the chamorrow dinner rolls. I just love your recipe board cause I can alte all your recipes to fit my vegan lifestyle! Happy Holidays and Si Yuus Maase

        • You’re most welcome, and no worries about your “tardiness!” 🙂 As for Latiya with masa harina, that’s not how it’s traditionally made. I believe you’re referring to the dessert called “kalamai,” which is made with masa harina.
